FreeBSD is a free, open-source and UNIX-like operating system. Though relatively unknown, it’s a performing and powerful work-horse, capable of coping with massive work-loads whilest remaining fast, ultra-stable and rock-solid. Blogging about FreeBSD and operating systems based on this versatile, safe and secure OS, I want to generate more interest in FreeBSD and its dependants. If you need a reliable, rock-solid and performing system for either your desktop or servers, consider FreeBSD!

That’s the goal of my Computer Science class. I want my students to try out as many operating systems if
they can. Many of them will head to the US for their university education. They will have to use Linux, FreeBSD, OSX, or Unix there so I might as well get
a jump start.
These kids are retaining roughly 80 percent, on the average, of what I taught them (mostly Linux commands at this time).
I hope that a
couple students will ask for some PC-BSD or FreeBSD install cds
Thanks for this website as well :-) I hope you do not mind that I linked in in my
