GhostBSD 1.0 (AMD64) has been released. It i’s based on FreeBSD-8-amd64-stable and runs Gnome 2.28.2.
I’ve not tried it yet. Has anyone else? What do you think?

It looks real good. I hope it gets bigger than PC-BSD because it looks better. It would make a nice desktop version of FreeBSD.
But why call it Ghost?
