NAS operating systems distribution (poll)

A few weeks ago we ran a poll on our Google+ page. Thank you to everybody who took part.

This is not a scientific poll and may not be representative, but it’s interesting nevertheless. I’d thought there would have been more users of FreeNAS, but 60% of users like to tinker with FreeBSD.

    +1 for FreeNAS
    I suspect a lot of people moved to from FreeNAS/OpenSol to FreeBSD 9.x to get the native ZFS v28 for the richer feature set.
    However, I’m still on FreeNAS 7.x as it works for me. – I’m waiting for encryption….
