Kris Moore and the PC-BSD team have been working on several updates for PC-BSD. The most notable are fixes related to the recent Heartbleed/OpenSSL bug, as well as stability issues with the PBI system. The Update Center has also had some changes to improve usability on the PC-BSD operating system.  In addition, preload, an adaptive readahead daemon, has been ported over. An alpha version of the Lumina desktop environment is also in development by Ken Moore.
